I was injured at work recently. its a 2nd degree burn to most of the top of my right hand up to the wrist. my employer has since placed all blame on me. they never bought me the safety equipment i need to perform my job safely, and even after the accident they still haven't. i have already made a workmans comp clain, still in the works. i have all kinds of photos proving that my place of work is unsafe to say the least. i was wondering if i could have a case to sue the company itself for pain and suffering, gross neglegence etc. i was told i need to contact an o.s.h.a. attorney. what should i do? any help is much appreciated.
