Angela Dorian (Victoria Rathgeb)

66-year-old Victoria Rathgeb -- who was the 1968 Playmate of the Year under the name Angela Dorian -- spoke with investigators following the shooting ... who claim she never "expressed remorse or regret for her actions." Victoria claimed her husband then slapped her in the face, so she shot him. Investigators concluded that Victoria "has a serious and violent anger management problem, and lacks impulse control.

Rathgeb, 66, pleaded no contest to attempted voluntary manslaughter Wednesday. In addition to nine years in prison, she was ordered to pay $70,000 to California's victim restitution fund, reports CBS station KCBS. Authorities say Rathgeb shot and wounded her husband last October during an argument. During the hearing, he stated that his wife accused him of being unfaithful.
