Hi there, I was recently tail ended by another driver so the other driver was at fault. I have spoken to my insurance company who have agreed to fight my corner for me as they also believe it should go down as the other drivers fault. They have rung me back today and provided the following response: "We are willing to waive the excess you would have to pay as good will gesture and your policy will not be affected by the accident. This is on the basis you would provide us with support if court precedings between our company and the other company are to occur." I've never heard of anything like this happening before. Is it the equivelent of the other party being found at fault. Should I go for this being as the accident was not my fault? Could only people with knowledge of insuance in the UK answer! Cheers! Thanks for the reply! Apparantly the other party haven't even reported the accident yet, we've tried to ring them with insurance details but they're not answering! Many the insurance are sure that the outcome will be in my favour? I'm with tesco, they seem good so far!
