Open Question: How can I find out if I'm eligible for my dad's military insurance benefits?

My dad was in the Navy for quite sometime. I've Googled this many different ways and led to so many sites and so much information, but it doesn't clearly state how to find out if I'm eligible for his health insurance. I'm seeking a dentist asap and doctor visit.
