Open Question: Can he cancel our holiday even though ive paid for it?

We booked a holiday to go to my friends wedding in rhodes in july, My husband booked it in his name as he knows the travel agent, i have paid the holiday off and have bank statements to prove this. He has told me he has cancelled the holiday and he is getting the money back minus the deposit, this is money from my account. I have phoned the agents and they said they cant even discuss me with me as it is not my name as lead, they didnt mind when i was paying with it tho! can u help me and let me know if i have any chance of making sure i get my money or stop him from canelling my holiday. thanks
