Open Question: how long will it take for an interim payment to be issued they agreed 4days ago!!?

our solicitor says one thing and then it doesn't happen i do phone her but she doesn't really help much this claim has been going on for nearly 3yrs. I really dont want to annoy her but on tueday she did say it would be here by thursday and today is now friday. What shall we do??
