Open Question: I was in a car accident last summer, got rear ended at a stoplight. insurance adjuster is stalling.?

this was not my fault at all. My daughter ( is ok but was very upset) and I were sitting at a stoplight and we were rear ended by the car behind us that was rear ended by the car behind them. thier insurance company paid 3800.00 for repairs to my car.I ended up with soft tissue injury to the back of the knee and neck and back. The whiplash or cervical was severe enough to see on an x-ray. I tried physical therapy but it wasn't working, therapist sent me nack to primary care who sent me to a chiropractor. I've been going to the chirp for about 9 months. I have fibromyalgia which basically means this injury is not going to completely heal and I will always have problems with pain. I called the insurance adjuster 2 months ago and told him to wrap up the case because treatment will go on forever and my doctors agree. He then said he would do so and get back with me in a week. I waited a month and called him back and he said he would get back with me in a week and now it's been 2 weeks. Is this just a stall tactic. I am not desperate for money but would like to wrap this up.I was trying to handle this without an attorney but now it's starting to make me mad. Any suggestions? Thanks
